With the 2007-08 NBA season approaching, the Hollywood soap opera has re-surfaced in Los Angeles.

After demanding a trade over the summer, the rumors are starting to circulate around the NBA concerning Kobe Bryant.

Despite a long relationship in which the Lakers have backed their superstar, owner Jerry Buss acknowledged (for the first time) the possibility of a basketball club without Bryant.
