Bosox World Series Bound

BOSTON (AP) - The Boston Red Sox are going to the World Series
for the second time in four years. The Red Sox beat Cleveland 11-2
to win the American League Championship Series after trailing three
games to one. The Red Sox outscored Cleveland 30-5 in the final
three games.
The Red Sox advance to play Colorado in the World Series that
begins Wednesday night at Fenway Park.
The Red Sox scored single runs in each of the first three
innings. They broke it open with two in the seventh and six in the
eighth. Rookie Dustin Pedroia drove in five runs with a two-run
homer in the seventh and a three-run double in the eighth. Kevin
Youkilis added a two-run home run in the eighth to finish the
Boston 15-hit attack.
Daisuke Matsuzaka (DICE'-kay maht-soo-ZAH'-kah) got the win by
allowing two runs on six hits in his five innings. Hideki Okajima
replaced Matsuzaka and pitched two scoreless innings. Jonathan
Papelbon relieved with two on in the seventh inning and got out of
that jam and closed out Cleveland in the ninth.
Indians starter Jake Westbrook took the loss. He gave up three
runs on nine hits in his six innings. Rafael Betancourt relieved
and coughed up Pedroia's homer in the seventh that opened the
floodgates.
