OAKLAND (AP) - The Houston Texans were led by Ron Dayne and Sage Rosenfels as they beat Oakland 24-17. Dayne carried the ball 21
times for 122 yards and one score while Rosenfels connected with
Andre Davis on a 42-yard touchdown pass midway in the final
quarter.
The win ups the Texans record to 4-and-5 while the loss drops
Oakland to 2-and-6. The Raiders have lost four straight since a
two-game winning streak in late September. The win puts an end to a
three-game skid for the Texans.
The season is over for Dunnta Robinson.
Robinson suffered a knee injury today in the Texans' victory
over Oakland. He went down when a teammate barreled into him while
trying to make a tackle.
Team doctors told him that his hamstring was ripped off the bone
and he might have torn at least one knee ligament. They'll know
more once they do an MRI back in Houston tomorrow.
But doctors told him he's done for this season.
Robinson says now he's got to get ready for next year.
