COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M soccer seniors Ashlee Pistorius and Amy Berend were named to the 2007 Soccer Buzz All-America teams, editors of the magazine announced this week.

Pistorius earned her fourth All-America honor from Soccer Buzz, being named to the first team and becoming just the 12th player to achieve a four-peat after closing out a senior season where she netted 25 goals en route to becoming the A&M and Big 12 career-leader in goals (81). Pistorius is the first Big 12 player to join the exclusive four-time Soccer Buzz All-America club.

Berend was named to the third team, marking her third appearance as a Soccer Buzz All-America selection. The midfielder tallied 11 goals and 16 assists in her four seasons as an Aggie, making 94 starts in 96 games played.

All Soccer Buzz Awards are based on a nomination process open to all NCAA Division I Coaches and balloting results of a voting panel of selected D1 Head Coaches and Soccer Buzz staff.

The 2007 National Awards for Player, Freshman and Coach of the Year will be announced on Friday, December 28.
