PHOENIX (AP) - The UCLA Bruins are heading back to the NCAA
Final Four for the third straight season following a convincing
victory over Xavier.
Freshman Kevin Love had 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Bruins
posted a 76-57 win over the Musketeers. Love was named the most
outstanding player of the West Regional after helping UCLA earn a
trip to San Antonio to play either Memphis or Texas in the national
semifinals next Saturday.
Darren Collison also finished with 19 points for the Bruins, who
shot nearly 54 percent from the field and used a 14-0 run to take
control in the second half.
UCLA's starters scored the team's first 73 points of the game,
with Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (look rih-SHARD' EHM'-bah a MOO'-tay)
delivering 13 points and 13 boards.
Derrick Brown had 13 points for the Musketeers.
