Rangers Drop 7-4 Decision, Losing Streak Climbs To 4

ARLINGTON -- Ervin Santana worked seven innings and Mike Napoli homered as the Los Angeles Angels beat the Rangers 7-4 in Texas.

Santana settled down after the Rangers scored three times in the
first to take a 3-2 lead. Santana pitched shutout ball over the
next six frames and improved to 2-and-0.

Napoli tied the game with a leadoff blast in the fifth before
Vladimir Guerrero added an RBI double and Garret Anderson followed
with a run-scoring single later in the inning.

Casey Kotchman drove in two runs for the Angels, who had lost
seven of their previous eight meetings with the Rangers.

Hank Blalock hit a two-run homer for Texas.

Francisco Rodriguez threw just seven pitches to post a
one-inning save.

Jason Jennings is 0-and-3 with an 8.79 ERA after yielding six
earned runs and seven hits in only four and two-thirds.
