HOUSTON (AP) - The Utah Jazz have won their first playoff series
since the days of Karl Malone and John Stockton.
Carlos Boozer had 35 points, 14 rebounds and five assists in
Utah's 103-to-99 seventh-game win over Houston. The Jazz became
only the seventh team since 2001 to come back from a 2-to-0 deficit
and win a series. They're also just the 19th visiting team to win
in 97 Game Sevens in playoff history. Deron Williams added 20
points and 14 assists for the Jazz, who won a playoff series for
the first time since 1990.
Tracy McGrady had 29 points and 13 assists, but the seven-time
All-Star fell to 0-and-6 in playoffs series. The Rockets blew a
2-to-0 series lead for the second time in three seasons.
Utah moves on to play a surprising Golden State team, which
upset top-seeded Dallas in the first round.
