PHOENIX (AP) - The San Antonio Spurs left the Phoenix Suns
bloodied and beaten in the opener of the Western Conference

32 points to lead the Spurs to a rough-and-tumble 111-to-106 win.

the final minute because of a bloody cut on his nose. It came after
a head-on collision with Parker with just under three minutes left.
Michael Finley added 19 points for San Antonio, which has
home-court advantage the rest of the series. The Spurs are 4-and-0
on the road this year in the playoffs.

made just six of 19 shots. Leandro Barbosa scored 18 points for the
Suns. Shawn Marion scored eleven of his 16 in the final quarter.
