SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Spurs have held serve in the
Western Conference finals, taking a 2-to-0 lead by downing the
visiting Utah Jazz 105-to-96.

Tim Duncan had 26 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs, who are
trying to reach the Finals for the third time in five years. Duncan
helped San Antonio build a 17-point halftime lead that grew to 22
in the third quarter.

Tony Parker finished with 17 points and a career playoff-high 14
assists. Manu Ginobili added 17 points to the win.

The Jazz couldn't recover after being outscored 32-to-17 in the
second quarter. They got within seven in the final period but were
always turned away by big baskets from San Antonio's playoff-tested
veterans.

Carlos Boozer had game highs of 33 points and 15 rebounds while
Deron Williams added 26 for Utah.

Game Three is Saturday at Salt Lake City, where the Jazz are
6-and-0 in these playoffs.
