SAN ANTONIO (AP) - The San Antonio Spurs convincingly won Game Two of the N-B-A Finals, 103-to-92 over Cleveland to take a 2-to-0 series lead over the Cavaliers.
The Spurs built a 25-point halftime lead and held a double-digit
lead for most of the game. The Cavaliers used a big run at the
start of the fourth quarter to cut a 27-point lead to eight but
that was as close as Cleveland would get.
Tony Parker led the Spurs with 30 points. Tim Duncan added 23
points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
Manu Ginobili scored 25, including a four-point play late in the game after the Cavs had cut the lead to eight.
Cavs superstar LeBron James drew two personal fouls in the
opening three minutes and was benched early. He finished with 25
The series now moves to Cleveland for Game Three Tuesday night.
