Texans Struggle With Pass Rush

HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Texans have taken defensive linemen in the first round of the past four drafts.
The list includes number ten pick Amobi Okoye in April and number one choice Mario Williams last year.
But it isn't helping the pass rush.
The starting linemen haven't registered a quarterback pressure,
much less a sack in two preseason games for the Texans -- who
ranked 27th in the NFL in sacks last year.
The Texans on Saturday will host the Dallas Cowboys.
One key will be the development of Williams, the 6-foot-7,
280-pound defensive end.
Williams started every game in 2006 but finished with just 47
tackles and four and a-half sacks -- while dealing with a painful
foot problem.
Coach Gary Kubiak says he'd be encouraged if Williams just
became more of a factor in hurrying the quarterback.
