BRYAN, TX -- Texas A&M product Stephen McGee is changing NFL teams. McGee was drafted in the 4th round by Jerry Jones and the Cowboys back in 2009 and prior to this season was let go by Dallas Head Coach Jason Garrett.

Last week Stephen signed a reserve/future's contract with the Houston Texans. We caught up with the former A&M quarterback at one of his favorite eateries from his college days and says he's looking forward to a second chance in the NFL.

"Yea I'm excited about the opportunity. I've always been a big fan of Coach Kubiak and what he's done offensively," said McGee.

"I know all the quarterbacks in Dallas always admired how he got guys open down the field and all his schemes. I'm excited to learn from him and be in that offense and I think it's a great opportunity and I think for me being a Texas boy being able to stay close to home too is really cool. We'll see what happens."

With a full beard that Stephen said was "wife approved", he would like to someday host a hunting show, but his focus for the next few months is getting ready for the Houston Texans OTA-s {Organized Team Activities} that will get underway in April.
