COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Sam Houston State Head Football Coach Willie Fritz to a look at the weather forecast Monday morning and knew it was going to be a wet one in Huntsville, so he made a phone call over to Texas A&M and was thankful he was able to bus his Bearkats over to Aggieland and grab a workout inside the McFerrin Indoor Practice Facility.

"Last moment we saw it would be difficult to practice outdoors in Huntsville," said Fritz. "It was very nice of Texas A&M to allow us to come over here and use their facility."

Fritz knows his team's final workouts are critical and was grateful to A&M that his team was able to practice indoors.

When ask if there was anything different about his team's approach this year he felt knowing what to expect would be a plus.

"The only thing that I think is different is we do have the experience of the playoffs last year and going to the National Championship game. Playoff experience this year and knowing what to expect when we get up there and different things that we do in addition to the game."

Bearkats will workout in Huntsville one last time Tuesday before hitting the road for the FCS National Championship game on Wednesday.

Saturday at noon Sam Houston State will take on North Dakota State for the FCS National Championship. Kickoff is set for noon on ESPN2.
