SHSU Men's game vs HBU Jan. 29 cancelled

Sam Houston State's non-conference men's basketball game with Houston Baptist Tuesday, January 29, at Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum has been canceled because of over-scheduling due to the ESPN Bracket Busters tournament.
The Bearkats will be playing a road game on Bracket Busters weekend Feb. 22-23 at a site to be determined. NCAA rules permit only 31 regular season games for Division I members.
Sam Houston's remaining home games in Huntsville match the Bearkats against Central Arkansas Thursday, Jan. 17 at 8 p.m.; Oral Roberts Saturday, Jan. 19 at 3:45 p.m.; McNeese State Thursday, Feb. 7 at 7:45 p.m.; Lamar Saturday, Feb. 9 at 3:45 p.m.; Stephen F. Austin Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 7:45 p.m.; Nicholls State Thursday, Feb. 28, at 7:45 p.m. and Southeastern Louisiana Saturday, March 2, at 3:45 p.m.
