TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - LSU is seeking redemption from the last colossal clash with fellow SEC West power Alabama.

Defensive tackle Bennie Logan says the fifth-ranked Tigers will host No. 1 Alabama Saturday night trying to "show the world that we have bounced back" from the loss in the national championship game.

Logan says that defeat left "a lot of scars."

Alabama has some motivation of its own beyond remaining the national and Southeastern Conference front-runner.

Crimson Tide wide receiver Kevin Norwood notes that LSU won the league title last season after surviving for a 9-6 overtime win in Tuscaloosa. He gripes that "we're just the national championship team."

This game doesn't feature 1 versus 2 like last season's two meetings but both teams are still squarely in the BCS title hunt.
