BATON ROUGE, La. -- Washington head coach Steve Sarkesian says his Huskies need to ignore the live tiger mascot and other distractions that come with playing in Death Valley if they're to give themselves a chance to upset No. 3 LSU.
The Tigers are seeking their 19th straight home victory Saturday night, as well as their 39th-straight regular season win over a non-conference opponent.
LSU comes in with a ground attack that piled up more than 300 yards in a lopsided victory over North Texas last week.
LSU's defense will try to stop one of the best passers in Huskies history. Keith Price had a career-high 25 completions in a win over San Diego State last week, and Washington receiver Kasen Williams says LSU hasn't seen a receiving corps like that of the Huskies.
