BRYAN -- The Georgia Bulldogs are the media's pick to win the SEC East even though Georgia lost one of their star players in the off-season. Running back Isaiah Crowell, the AP's SEC freshman of the year in 2011, was dismissed from the team following an arrest on a felony gun charge...a decision that was not a lot of fun for Georgia head coach Mark Richt.
"I really do care very much about everyone of our guys. I love the guys on our team whether they are a walk-on, a first teamer and everything in between."

One position the Bulldogs should feel good about is quarterback. Junior Aaron Murray has started 27 straight games for Georgia. During that time he has thrown for 6-thousand 198 yards and 59 touchdowns. With two years of game experience under his belt Murray's best football at Georgia seems to be ahead of him. Richt fells like Murray will be a key player this season. "He is throwing the ball better than he has ever thrown it, that is what he told me the other day. He just feels like he is throwing he ball extremely well. He knows our system front and back. He is one of the undisputed leaders of the football team. Hopefully he will stay healthy and play to his full potential because it he does we will have a good year." Senior wide receiver Tavarres King knows just how hard Murray has been working in the off-season.
"Aaron is one of my best friends. We worked out butts off everyday in May and everyday this summer. We have been grinding just to get the chemistry down and we have been working in the film room."

The Georgia defense has nine starters back from last year's team that finished fourth in the SEC in total defense giving up 277 yards a game. When you think defense in the SEC teams like Alabama LSU likely come to mind first but that doesn't seem to bother junior linebacker Jarvis Jones. "I rather we stay under the radar. We work hard, we grind just like everyone does. We believe in each other, we makes plays and we have fun doing it. I don't think we need all the publicity just to be considered on of the best, if you look at our stats they will show it."
Senior defensive end Abry Jones feels confident in the defensive unit as well. "I believe the sky is the limit. We have a lot of guys that have been in the system for a good bit. The communication is good between everybody. I think when we get everyone back together we will just start rolling again."

Georgia will open the 2012 season September 1 at home against Buffalo.
