COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Southeastern Conference Western Division champion Texas A&M will be the No. 4 seed at the 2013 SEC Men’s Tennis Tournament, to be held April 17-21 at the University of Mississippi’s Palmer-Solloum Tennis Center. The Aggies first play in a quarterfinal match on Friday at 3 p.m. against the winner of either No. 12 seed Alabama/ No. 13 seed Arkansas and No. 5 seed Ole Miss.
Florida is the No. 3 seed, determined by its record against the other three 7-5 teams. The Aggies and Gators were both 2-1 against those squads, but because Florida knocked off A&M earlier in the season, the Maroon and White fell to the No. 4 seed.
Should the Aggies advance, the semifinal match is slated for Saturday at 2 p.m. with the championship match being played on Sunday at 1 p.m.
