COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Tickets for the No. 12 Texas A&M soccer team's inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference go on sale June 1, Aggie Head Coach G Guerrieri announced today. Fans will be able to enjoy 12 games at Ellis Field, including seven conference matches.
Season tickets will continue to be sold for the 2011 price, despite continuous upgrades to Ellis Field. Adult season ticket packages on the west side of the stadium can be reserved for $75-$150, and youth season tickets in the same area go for $40-$120. General admission tickets are available for $60 for adults and $25 for youth seats.

"I'm really excited to hear that we are keeping the price for soccer season tickets at the same low price as the past few years," Guerrieri said. "It's uncommon to see tickets for a team as successful as ours staying at a low price, but I think that just shows Texas A&M's commitment to provide a fun, affordable 'Aggie Experience' for our fans, and especially to the soccer fans and families who want to be at Ellis Field to support our team."
The Aggies will kick off the 2012 season with an August 17 Maroon & White exhibition match before heading to California for a pair of season-opening contests. The A&M soccer home season will officially begin August 25 when the Aggies host UTSA.
The 12th Man at Ellis Field is notoriously one of the largest and most boisterous regular crowds in Division I Women's soccer, with the one-of-a-kind Aggie Soccer Drum Line and the Maroon Militia adding to the excitement from midfield on the east side of the stadium.
"We have been ranked either No. 1, No. 2 or No. 3 nationally in average home attendances for each of the past 10-plus years in-a-row," Guerrieri said. "It wouldn't take too much more to make A&M No. 1 again, and I think it would be fantastic to see our season ticket sections sold out this summer as we prepare to enter the SEC."
SEC play for the Aggies starts Sept. 14 in Baton Rouge, La., with a match vs. LSU. Fans in College Station will experience their first A&M conference match on Sept. 21 when the Aggies host South Carolina in front of the 12th Man at Ellis Field.
"Our team was No. 1 in the nation in scoring last year and we've always embraced a quick, attack-minded style of play," Guerrieri said. "We have some awesome opposing teams coming to Ellis Field this season - 11 of our 12 home opponents have been in the NCAA Championship Tournament in the past few years. So, our fans should witness some very exciting games for a very family-friendly price."
The No. 12 (RPI Final) Aggies won their 12th-and-final Big 12 Championship in 2011 and advanced to a 17th-straight NCAA Tournament. The Aggies' 2012 opponents include five 2011 conference champions and 11 teams from the 2011 postseason, including four NCAA Second Round teams, two Sweet 16 teams and one Elite Eight squad. A&M's 2012 foes average a 65.85 RPI ranking from the 2011 season, compared to an average of 80.72 last year.
