FORT WORTH, TX -- Matt Juengel drove in a pair of runs and Chance Bolcerek scored twice as the Texas A&M baseball team snapped its five game losing streak Tuesday night with a 4-1 win over TCU.
Trailing 1-0 in the 8th, Bolcerek hit a triple to right center driving in Scotty Arthur to tie the game at 1. Then Juengel singled to left driving in Bolcerek giving the Aggies their first lead of the game, 2-1.
In the 9th, the Aggies got two insurance runs on RBI singles by Juengel and Jace Statum.
Kyle Martin picked up the win striking out 5 over 2 1/3rds innings of relief.
The Aggies will be back on the field Friday when they began a 3 game weekend series against Texas that will start at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. First pitch is set for 6:35pm. The series will switch to Austin on Saturday and Sunday for games 2 and 3.
