In the Aggies’ season opener in Frisco, Adams went 2-0 by defeating Alex Sanders of SMU 6-7, 3-2, ret., and Damian Despotovski of Nicholls State 6-1, 5-7, 10-4.

The No. 6-ranked tandem of Adams and Vinsant went 3-0 this past week, earning one win in Palo Alto and two in Frisco. The duo defeated Sanders/Russell of SMU, 7-6 from the No. 2 line and later defeated Russell/Knight of Nicholls State, 8-4 from the No. 1 position. In California, the freshmen pair defeated Ho/Lin of Stanford, 8-5 to help Texas A&M earn the crucial doubles point.
