COLLEGE STATION — This Saturday (Aug. 11) Aggie football coach Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M football team will host an Aggie Fan Appreciation Day presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors. Practice is slated to begin at 11:45 a.m. at Kyle Field. Part of the practice will be scrimmage situations.

Gates 4 and 5 at the southwest corner of the stadium will open at 10:30 a.m. Fans will enter the west stands (press box side) through the opening between Netum Steed and the first deck on the west side of the stadium. Just like the Maroon & White Spring Game, fans should not bring cameras into the stadium.

Concessions will be available inside Kyle Field.

After the practice, the team will shower and then move to the Gilliam Indoor Track facility that is part of the McFerrin Athletic Center. An autograph session will begin at 1:30 p.m. and last approximately one hour. Fans are reminded only one item per person. The players and coaches will be seated behind tables around the track facility so posed pictures will be difficult.

The Texas A&M Bookstore will sell merchandise from a trailer just outside of the gates at Netum Steed and the Aggie athletics marketing department will have posters available and Academy will have autograph sheets for the fans.

Fans will enter the Gilliam Indoor Track through the main doors. Once in the lobby, move to the left to enter the area where the players will be located.
