COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The Texas A&M football team wrapped up its third workout of the week this afternoon at Kyle Field. It was their 9th workout of spring drills. The team practiced for over two hours.
The Aggies have five more workouts scheduled over the next two weeks culminating with the Maroon and White game on April 13th.
Head Football Coach Kevin Sumlin addressed the media after today's practice and said he wants his players to enjoy the upcoming holiday. "I am a big believer this is Easter weekend and letting guys get back with their families." Sumlin added "We have a lot of guys within 300 or 400 miles from here so we practiced tonight and did a little bit of live work. We will meet in the morning and get them out of here before 11:00am so everyone can get home. It is good Friday, it is Easter weekend and we will get back to work next Monday."
The Maroon and White game will kick off at 2pm on April 13th. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
