COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M softball head coach Jo Evans and her staff announced today that they will host a winter skills camp, Jan. 12-13 on the A&M campus.
The hitting and pitching clinics cost just $100 with instruction from some of the best coaches and players, both former and current, in NCAA Division I softball. The camps make great holiday presents for players ages 10-18, and a $25 discount is available for those who sign up for two or more sessions.
Attendees will receive hands-on instruction while rotating through several skill-enhancing stations. Hitters should bring a bat, batting gloves, a batting helmet, cleats and tennis shoes. Pitchers will need a glove, cleats, and tennis shoes, and do not need to bring their own catcher. Spaces are limited.
Two hitting clinics and two pitching clinics will take place simultaneously on Jan. 12, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. One hitting clinic, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., is available on Jan. 13.
