College Station, TX -- The Texas A&M football team practiced for about two hours Tuesday night on the Coolidge Grass Practice Fields. It was the only practice of the day.
Aggie head coach Kevin Sumlin has not named a starting quarterback. That announcement could come this week.
Texas A&M secondary coach Marcel Yates met with the media Tuesday night after practice. Yates says he is looking to see who can be consistent making plays. " I don't want guys that are just in the position and say I was there but then they are getting beat deep. We want play makers, who can tackle, who can cover."
The Aggies will be back at work Wednesday holding two practices. The team is scheduled to hold a scrimmage Saturday morning at 11:30am at Kyle Field.
