COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The Texas A&M men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will be busy this weekend with dual meets against Incarnate Word and LSU at the Student Recreation Natatorium. The Aggies take UIW at 6 p.m. on Friday and LSU at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Both Aggie squads will be seeking to get back on the winning track after dropping hard-fought dual meets against Southeastern Conference foe Auburn last week. The No. 5 Aggie women’s team dropped a narrow 158-141 decision to the No. 4 Tigers, while the A&M men’s squad fell to the No. 9 Auburn men 189-111. The Aggies combined to win 10 events against the Tigers, with the women’s team posting six victories and the men taking four wins.

Leading the way with two individual wins against Auburn were Aggie Olympians Cammile Adams and Breeja Larson from the women’s squad and sophomore transfer Ford McLiney for the men. Adams won the 200 fly and 500 free, Larson swept the 100 and 200 breaststroke and McLiney swept the one- and three-meter dives. McLiney earned SEC Diver of the Week honors for his performance against the Tigers.

Also grabbing individual wins against the Tiger were senior Maureen McLaine in the women’s 1,000 freestyle, junior Omar Enriquez in the men’s 1,650 free, senior Tess Simpson in the women’s 200 backstroke and freshman Mateo Muzek in the men’s 200 back.

Admission to the meet is free.
