COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The Texas A&M football team has almost completed its first spring workouts under new head coach Kevin Sumlin.
The Aggies worked out at the Coolidge Grass Practice Fields for a second straight afternoon on Thursday.
Sumlin said it was a non padded practice, but that they worked on their first series of two minute drills.
"It was a teaching moment for both offense and defense and the tempo of getting up and down the field ," said Sumlin.
The first year Aggie Head Coach added that the team has a lot to still improve on, and because of that Saturday's Maroon and White Game will need to be utilized as more of a practice situation.
Saturday's Maroon and White game will kickoff at 1pm at Kyle Field.
