Aggies Head West To Face Pepperdine In Malibu

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- After the postponement of Tuesday’s scheduled trip to Houston, the No. 8 Texas A&M baseball team (16-5) will make its first road trip this weekend when it travels to Malibu, Calif., to battle Pepperdine (16-5) in a three-game series at Eddy D. Field Stadium. Game times (Central Time) are set at 5 p.m. for Friday’s series opener and 3 p.m. for both Saturday and Sunday’s contests.

Texas A&M earned a 6-2 victory in first match-up (a seven-inning contest), getting a complete game from pitcher Khalif Ballouli ... Pepperdine evened the series with a 2-0 victory two days later in the tournament’s final game ... Texas A&M is 8-3 all-time against current members of the West Coast Conference, most recently playing Gonzaga a year ago during a three-game series on Olsen Field.
