COLLEGE STATION, TX -- For the first time this season, the No. 8 Texas A&M baseball team will leave the friendly confines of Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park and take to the road as it makes the short trip to the Bayou City on Tuesday to battle the University of Houston in a 6:35 p.m. contest on Cougar Field. The game will be televised regionally by Cox Sports.

Former long-time Southwest Conference foes, the Aggies and Cougars will be meeting for the 166th time Tuesday night ... Texas A&M holds a 109-55-1 lead in the all-time series and has won 13 of the last 18 meetings between the schools, who have met at least once on the baseball diamond every year since 1964 ... The two teams split a pair of meetings last season with A&M earning an 11-4 victory on March 6 during the Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park and UH evening the score with a 3-2 victory in College Station on April 5.
