Dodgers pick Ross Stripling in 5th Round of MLB Draft

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Texas A&M pitcher Ross Stripling in the fifth round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

LA made him the 176th overall selection in the draft.

Stripling went 10-4 with a 3.08 ERA and led the team with 120 strikeouts.

He threw a no-hitter against San Diego State may 12th.
