COLLEGE STATION, Texas – As part of a special social media promotion, the first 200 Texas A&M students will be admitted FREE to tonight’s Aggie softball game against defending National Champion Alabama. The ninth-ranked Aggies (27-5, 4-4 SEC) and No. 4 Alabama (30-4, 6-3 SEC) will face off at 7 p.m. Central at the Aggie Softball Complex.
The Aggie Softball Facebook page and the @AggieSoftball Twitter feed reached the set goal of 8,000 combined likes and follows today, allowing the first 200 A&M students to be admitted to the top-10 matchup for FREE.
Students should bring a student ID to the ticket booth and be among the first 200 current students through the gate to take part in the promotion. Tonight and Sunday’s games are reaching capacity, and Saturday’s contest is sold out thanks to the 12th Man.
The Aggies will host the Crimson Tide at 4 p.m. Saturday, before facing Alabama in the Southeastern Conference series finale at noon Sunday.
