BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Four Southeastern Conference soccer teams are ranked among the nation’s top-25 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire Preseason Ranking, released on Tuesday.
Texas A&M, the 2011 Big-12 Tournament Champions who finished with a 16-6-2 overall record a year ago, are tied for 14th in the preseason poll. Perennial power Florida checks in at No. 21, 2011 SEC Champion South Carolina is ranked No. 24 and 2011 SEC Tournament Champion Auburn is ranked 25th.
Fellow SEC members Kentucky, LSU and Tennessee also are receiving votes.
