COLLEGE STATION, TX -- After a week on the road, Johnny Manziel returned to Aggieland ready to get back to a normal routine. The last seven days have been anything but normal for Texas A&M's red shirt freshman quarterback as he won the Heisman Trophy (2nd Aggie to win it joining 1957 winner John David Crow) Saturday night in New York City.

Two days prior, Manziel celebrated his 20th birthday by winning the Davey O'Brien Award at the College Football Awards in Orlando, Florida.

Manziel's award was the first time an Aggie quarterback has been honored as the Nation's Best Quarterback. Texas A&M offensive lineman Luke Joeckel was awarded the Outland Trophy as the nation's top interior linemen which was also a first for the Aggie football program.

Both Manziel and Joeckel along with several Aggie football players and coaches will be honored Wednesday at 5pm during a ceremony outside the Memorial Student Center on the Texas A&M Campus.

"Celebrating the 12th Man" will be carried live on KBTX - TV and the CW-8 along with live streamed at KBTX.com.
