Texas A&M enters the game after a 71-54 win at Auburn on the first leg of this two-game road trip. The Aggies had four players reach double figures in that game, and were paced by an early 14-0 run that put the Tigers away before they had a chance to get going.
A&M's 7-1 start to conference play matches its best start to any conference season in school history. The Aggies have started 7-1 in conference three times previously, in the memorable seasons of 1993-94 (First Sweet 16 Appearance), 2010-11 (National Championship) and 2012-13 (SEC Tournament Title).
Vanderbilt looks to bounce back from a 59-54 road loss at Missouri mid-week, falling in their first game ever in Columbia. The Commodores are led by the SEC's leading scorer in all games, Christina Foggie, who is scoring 19.0 points per game.
After this game, the Aggies are off until Sunday, Feb. 9, when LSU visits Reed Arena for the annual BTHO Breast Cancer game. Tip is at 1:30 p.m. and televised on FSN.
