COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Several promotions have been announced for this weekend’s Texas A&M home volleyball matches as the Aggies embark on their inaugural season as members of the Southeastern Conference.
The Aggies, 8-1 and riding a seven-match winning streak, open conference play Friday against Ole Miss at 6:30 p.m. at Reed Arena. The first 250 A&M students will receive a free T-Shirt commemorating the team’s first-ever SEC contest.
In addition, it will be Fish Camp Night, and all students who wear their Class of 2016 Fish Camp T-shirt will be admitted free to the match through the student entrance only.
On Sunday, it will be Aggie Ring Day as A&M plays host to Auburn at 1 p.m. Anyone wearing an Aggie Ring will receive a free ticket at the ticket window at Reed.
A&M will play 20 conference matches overall this season, including 10 home contests, and is picked to finish second in the SEC Western Division behind seven-time division champion LSU.
