COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Come to Aggieland and learn from the best at Gary Blair's first Texas A&M Aggie Coaching Academy held Aug. 11-12, 2012, at the Cox McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball.

Join Blair, head coach of the 2011 National Championship Aggies, and his staff as they open their program and practices for this once-in-a-lifetime, behind-the-scenes glimpse of their elite program. The entire A&M women's basketball team will also be involved in all teaching aspects of the academy.

"We are very excited about the coaching academy because of the format we have put together," said Blair. "Coaches will be afforded the opportunity to see actual A&M women's basketball practice sessions because we will have our team here preparing for our trip to Italy. It has always been my philosophy as a coach to open the doors and share our program. I think it should be our responsibility as coaches to do whatever we can to help our sport grow."

Cost of the two-day coaching academy is $50 and includes all academy sessions, an academy notebook, a 2012 Aggie Women's Basketball Highlight DVD, a DVD of the sessions, meals and a coaches' social.

Registration for the coaching academy is also available online.
