Texas A&M special teams coach Brian Polian is expected to become the next head football coach at Nevada, according to Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports.

Feldman reports that Nevada has offered Polian the job, and he is expected to accept.

Polian is coming off his first season as special teams coach at Texas A&M. Prior to that, he spent two years at Stanford in the same role. He also served five years on the Notre Dame coaching staff.

Polian is considered a great recruiter, and is credited with contributing to top recruiting classes at both Texas A&M and Stanford.
