Second week of Aggie spring football drills underway at Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M players donned full pads for their fifth workout of the spring at the Coolidge Grass Practice Fields Monday afternoon.

After stretching the offense went against the defense for a few plays. Jameill Showers played quarterback for the first series, Johnny Manziel took snaps for the second series. The offense failed to get a first down on either drive.

Kevin Sumlin and company have four practices scheduled this week, including a scrimmage on Kyle Field Saturday morning.
