COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M has announced several enticing ticket promotions for each of the Aggies’ SEC volleyball matches this weekend.
With October being “Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” the Friday contest against South Carolina has been designated as A&M’s “Dig Pink” match. The Aggies are hoping to cover Reed Arena in pink for their televised match against the Gamecocks (13-4, 2-4 SEC), and anyone wearing pink will be admitted for only $3.
First serve is at 8:30 p.m., and the match will be televised live by SportSouth.
A&M has united with the Side-Out Foundation in its efforts to raise funds for breast cancer research and support. Volleyball fans can donate online at the Aggie volleyball team’s Dig Pink page: http://www.side-out.org/application/ous/fundraising_page/56447
In addition, a representative from the Side-Out Foundation will be in attendance at the match to accept donations.
A&M’s match against Mississippi State on Sunday is “Faith and Family Night.” Anyone presenting a flyer distributed at Tuesday’s Breakaway session will be admitted free. Free tickets also can be obtained in advance by going to the special promotions link at 12thmanfoundation.com and using the promo code “Breakaway”.
First serve against the Bulldogs is at 3 p.m. at Reed, and the match also will be televised live by SportSouth.
The Aggies, 12-2 overall, are tied for first in the SEC Western Division with a 4-1 record after defeating both Missouri and Alabama on the road last weekend.
