PHOENIX, Arizona -- The Cardinals signed four of their nine draft picks, the team announced on Friday. The top five selections have not signed, but rookie contracts are not complicated these days and protracted negotiations are rare.
All four draft picks signed four-year deals, as mandated by the collective bargaining agreement. Stanford running back Stepfan Taylor (fifth round), Texas A&M wide receiver Ryan Swope (6th), Clemson running back Andre Ellington (6th) and Rutgers tight end D.C. Jefferson (7th) signed before rookie minicamp started on Friday.
There are reports on twitter that Ryan signed a 4 year deal worth $2.27 million which includes a signing bonus of $115,788.00.
