COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Aggie fans will get their first chance to see the new-look Texas A&M men's basketball team on Friday, Oct. 18, as the team hosts its Maroon & White Scrimmage/Meet the Aggies Night at 7 p.m. inside Reed Arena.
Admission is free to the event, which will give fans the chance to get reacquainted with some familiar faces on the Aggie roster as well be their first chance to see six newcomers don the Maroon & White for the first time.
Following the scrimmage, fans be able to get autographs as well as meet and greet the team. Double Dave’s will provide free pizza rolls to early arriving fans at Reed Arena.
Additionally, prior to the event fans who don’t want to miss any of the Aggie Basketball action this season and have not yet purchased season tickets will have the opportunity to “Select-a-Seat”. Seats that are available for ticket purchase in the lower bowl will be marked and give fans a unique opportunity to see their vantage point of the court before purchasing.

The Aggies enter their third season under the direction of head coach Billy Kennedy and feature a young, talented roster led by three returning starters, including upperclassmen Fabyon Harris (senior guard) and Kourtney Roberson (junior forward). Additionally, local sophomore standouts Alex Caruso (College Station, Texas) and J-Mychal Reese (Bryan, Texas) are set to take a step forward during their second year on campus.
Texas A&M, which began full-team practices last weekend, will make final preparations for the 2013-14 campaign during an exhibition game against UTPB on Oct. 30 before officially tipping off the season on Nov. 8 when it welcomes Buffalo to Reed Arena.
