COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Today’s women’s tennis match between No. 10 Texas A&M and Sam Houston State at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center has been canceled due to high winds. The match will not be rescheduled.

The Aggies (5-1), ranked in the Top 10 for the first time since an all-time high No. 9 ranking on March 28, 2001, return to the Mitchell Tennis Center on Wednesday at 4 p.m. to play host to former Big 12 Conference foe and 19th-ranked Baylor.

The match against the Bears marks the start of a three-match home stand for the Aggies, and it also will be the team’s final tune up before A&M embarks on its inaugural SEC season against No. 38 South Carolina on Friday at 5 p.m.

The Aggies close out their longest home stand of the season with a meeting against defending national and SEC-champion Florida on Sunday at noon. The Gators enter the week with a No. 4 national ranking.

Season and individual match tickets can be purchased online anytime at 12thManFoundation.com or during business hours at the Athletic Ticket Office located in The Zone at Kyle Field or by calling the ticket office at 1-888-99-AGGIE or 979-845-2311.
