No. 19 Texas A&M hosts No. 16 LSU in its annual BTHO Breast Cancer Game on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m. The Aggies look to improve their 10-1 home record and sweep the season series with the Lady Tigers, who they beat 52-48 in Baton Rouge on Jan. 9.
BTHO BREAST CANCER
Texas A&M hosts the annual BTHO Breast Cancer game, where the Aggies aim to raise over $15,000 for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. A portion of the funds raised from the BTHO Breast Cancer game will also be donated to the Pink Alliance, a local non-profit in the Brazos Valley that serves as an advocate for breast cancer support.
Pink BTHO Breast Cancer shirts are available to purchase for $10, online and on the concourse of Reed Arena during the game, while supplies last. 100% of the shirt proceeds will benefit the Kay Yow Foundation. The shirt is in the style of A&M’s uniforms.
A&M will wear white jerseys with pink trim for the game.
“Pink Tickets” are available for this game for $10, with $7 of every purchase of a pink ticket going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Those tickets can be purchased here.
MEMORABILIA & EXPERIENCES AUCTION
Memorabilia from the game and select game day experiences are available for auction in conjunction with the game here.
Prior to the game children are invited to in “Kid’s Court” inside the women’s practice gym beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Kids will have the chance to shoot baskets or participate in poster making, face painting and other activities.
Kids and parents can access “Kid’s Court” by entering the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball from the arena concourse and following the signage for “Kid’s Court”.
