Texas A&M Women’s Basketball Banquet Set For April 18

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The 2011-12 Texas A&M women’s basketball team holds its annual end-of-season banquet on Wednesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at The Zone Club at Kyle Field.

The event is open to the public and cost is $30 per person. Reservations can be made by clicking here or by calling the 12th Man Foundation Ticket Center at 979-845-2311 or 1-888-99-AGGIE. Tickets should be reserved with payment no later than Wednesday, April 11.

This past season the Aggies (24-11) returned to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the fourth time in five years as part of its seventh straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The team recorded its seventh consecutive 20-win season under head coach Gary Blair and was ranked as high as No. 4 in the nation. A&M finished the regular season with a program-best 6,592 fans at each home game for the 12th-best attendance in the nation.

Join ninth-year head coach Gary Blair, the all-time winningest women's basketball coach in school history, his staff and players to celebrate the extraordinary 2011-12 season, while graduating seniors Kelsey Assarian, Sydney Carter, Skylar Collins, Adaora Elonu and Tyra White will be honored during the ceremony along with additional award winners. A season highlight video produced by 12th Man Productions will also be shown during the banquet.

Parking for the team banquet will be available in the Koldus Garage, West Campus Garage and Lot 62. Dress attire is business casual.
