Updated: 5:11 PM Texas A&M Equestrian sophomore Laura Sumrall was named to the 2013 All-SEC Equestrian Team, and a conference-best five Aggies earned spots on the SEC All-Freshman Equestrian Team, the league office announced today. Sumrall (Summitt, Miss.) was the only Aggie to take all-conference honors, while freshmen Hannah Jechow (Uvalde, Texas), Ryann McKinzie (Wenatchee, Wash.), Marlena Parker (Cumming, Ga.), Logan Pluhar (Canyon, Texas) and Hannah Williams (Woodbine, Md.) took the first conference honors of their young careers in SEC equestrian’s inaugural season.
