DALLAS (AP) - A Denton County grand jury will be asked to review
the Lewisville Lake drowning of a 3-year-old Carrollton girl.
Natalie Escobar, whose body was found on the Fourth of July, is
among four who drowned near the lake. Little Elm police
investigated how well her father and uncle were watching the
toddler before her death.
The Dallas Morning News reports police say though her death was
ruled accidental, they'll forward their information to the Denton
County grand jury, which will consider whether criminal charges are
warranted.
Three men whose bodies were recovered Sunday also drowned at
Lewisville Lake.
Authorities said at least 13 people drowned in area lakes during
the Fourth of July weekend. A 14th death occurred in a private
pool.
