WESTLAKE, Texas (AP) - Some teens are in a tizzy in Westlake
over reports that the Jonas Brothers will be living in the
Dallas-Fort Worth suburb.
Tarrant County records were obtained by The Dallas Morning News
about the pop stars, who currently live in Los Angeles County
Those documents show the three band members granted power of
attorney to their mother, Denise Jonas, to buy a 2.8 million
dollar, six-bedroom house in the Vaquero neighborhood.
The documents were signed June 12th.
A publicist for the band, which began a nationwide tour last
month, declined comment.
The eldest Jonas, 20-year-old Kevin, was born in Dallas but grew
up in New Jersey with brothers Joe, who's 18 and 15-year-old Nick.
The exclusive North Texas neighborhood already includes major
leaguer Mark Teixeira (tuh-SHARE'-uh), former Cowboys quarterback
Drew Bledsoe and Pro Football Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw.
