A Texas man is one of the two people who died in a five-vehicle crash in Colorado.

The Colorado State Patrol says the driver of a recreational vehicle was westbound on U.S. 50 along Monarch Pass on Sunday when the RV crossed the centerline, swerved to the right and sideswiped a Lincoln Town Car.

The Lincoln then sideswiped a Toyota Camry, sending both vehicles off the road.

The RV then hit an eastbound Nissan Altima head on before rolling on its side.

Troopers say the RV driver, Ray Stout, 79, of Montrose, Colo., and the Nissan driver, Miguel Solis, 68, of El Paso, died at the scene.

Solis' passenger, Felipa Solis, was airlifted to a hospital in Grand Junction, Colo., with serious injuries.

Debris from the crash struck a fifth vehicle, whose driver was unhurt.
