Small Texas School District Closes Schools Because Of Illness
Another small Texas school district has temporarily canceled classes because of high absenteeism.

The tiny Texline ISD is the latest district in the Texas Panhandle to cancel classes because of illnesses, including the flu.
The Texline district was scheduled to shut its doors beginning Friday.
Officials hope to resume classes on Wednesday,
Some or all campuses in at least eight other Panhandle communities have shut down in the last week due to illness.
Schools in Sunray, Spearman and Higgins closed Thursday because of the high number of students out sick.
Texline, on the Texas-New Mexico border in northwest corner of the state, is a community of about 500.
