Stormy weather may be to blame for extensive damage to a College Station home.
Eight fire department units were called out to a house fire on the south side of town on Bent Tree Drive.
There were reports of smoke and flames coming from the roof of the two story home. There's major damage to the living room area, attic and roof.
No one was home when the fire was reported. The lone resident is being assisted by the College Station Fire Department.
Because they say the house is not in livable condition, but it's not a total loss.
Investigators believe weather may have sparked the flames, but they are still looking into the cause.
